The short story of Monkeyman is great. I really loved it. My reaction to the story was surprised because at the end Monkeyman wants to still return to 145th street after what had happen to him. I would feel scared because there may be a bigger gang than the Trigros. I dont know how Monkyman would be brave enough to go back, and even get in trouble even more with the Trigros.

What does this book make you wonder about?Why?

This book makes me wonder if I was in the army what would I do. I will wonder if I will survive or if I won't survive. It is very hard to think if you can because many people come out surviving and other poeple come dead. I guess that there is 70% surviving, and 30% getting killed. I would also wonder how does life time pass and  what  you do during you are free. What do feel? Do you feel sad, lonely, or scared? I will also wonder if I will every see my family again? When is there going to be peace in the world fo a very long time so people wont get harmed our homes destroyed? That is what I am wondering about.

Fallen Angels by Walter Dean Myers

Well the book Fallen Angles by Walter D. Myers is a very great and interesting book. It gets your attention and makes you read more. Readers that love action and war books would love to read this awesome book. The first 13 pages are great and really got my attention. I guess that this is a teenager book because some little curses book it is a 1st narrator book. It is the point of view by a solder called Richie Perry. He explained why he chose the job to fight for the army. Right know he was on Vietnam. He made a lot of friends in the army. He met this guy that has been in war longer then him. He is called Peewee. Peewee is a very pumped up because he wants to kill people and he is not scared to fight. Perry also met a girl named Judy during Perry was going to Vietnam. She is a nurse in the army that helps the people that hurt during the fighting. I really look forward of loving this book a lot. I feel that I'm also in the army because when I read it I can picture it in my head what is happening. Walter Dean Myers I give you 2 thumbs up!!!
